107. "Mario"

Mario reminded me of a black Shetland I made acquaintance with around the age of 9 on regular visits from Zimbabwe in the school holidays to see my father who had re-married  in Johannesburg. Toby was over the fence in a paddock with other horses owned by a veterinary practice.  Over time the vet's twin daughters noticed me looking in and we became friends for many years.  Toby had a mind of his own, was naughty when ridden much to the mirth of Debbie and Beverly as he'd charge off bucking and farting.  Mario was quite the opposite and a true little gent I believe when in charge of his very young rider.
